Marjolein Bastiaans finished her Bachelor's degree in Social Studies at the HAN in 2007 and started working in children daycare. One year later she began working as an administrative assistant at the Radboudumc (Radiology and Neurology departments) in 2009 and 2010. Afterwards she joined a project from Alliander – a one year contract including a secretary education. After finishing her education, she decided to stay for another 5 years. On July 1st 2016 she started to work as a secretary for Ioannis Sechopoulos, chair of the Advanced X-ray Tomographic Imaging group and for Arend Heerschap, chair of the Biomedical MR research group group within the Department of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.
