Carlijn Tenbergen studied Technical Medicine at the University of Twente in Enschede. Her master was focused on medical imaging and interventions. Since April 2018 she is a PhD candidate at the Biomedical MR research group within the department of Radiology and Nuclear medicine at the Radboud university medical center, Nijmegen. Her thesis focuses on MR spectroscopy and nano-MRI of the prostate and pelvic lymph nodes. The goal of the thesis is to achieve personalized image-based assessment of metastatic potential of prostate cancer. She is supervised by Tom Scheenen.
