We recently attended an NWO award ceremony at TU Delft where 11 'Large-Scale Research Infrastructure' projects were celebrated. In two of these projects, AMICE— The Dutch infrastructure of advanced multi-modal imaging centres' and BioMotive—'Visualising the internal human body in motion', the BioMR group plays a pivotal role, through Prof. Tom Scheenen and Dr Donnie Cameron, respectively. The ceremony was attended by the Minister for Education, Culture, and Science, as well as the president of the NWO executive board. More details (in Dutch) below.
Last Friday, our whole group joined the ISMRM Benelux Annual Meeting, a day packed with great poster presentations, inspiring conversations, and lots of connecting.
Great news for our preclinical imaging facility; we can renew one of our preclinical MRI systems AND start working on combining it with ultrasound imaging within the 7T scanner! Big thanks to all contributors to AMICE...
It is truly amazing to follow Larry Wald's lectures and keynote speeches: never a dull moment, and never the same talk. His 'Hahn lecture' this year, celebrating 20 years of the institute, was another example of a fantastic, inspiring, and personal view of perhaps a new avenue in the world of MRI. Check it out below!
